I respect Leighton but I am truly having a hard time thinking that I can call someone a 'brother' in Christ when their view of the Lord Jesus is far removed from the image of Christ in scripture. Their view is heretical and false making this doctrine of Calvinism a lie! I can not in good conscience call reformers brothers since they distort the true Gospel and make it incomprehensible! These teachings are false. Those teaching it are false teachers. The Lord calls them hypocrites and vipers, not brothers! I am called to love and pray for my enemies, which I do regularly, but I don't hang out with them. What does light have to do with darkness? I believe Calvinism is part of the great deception coming upon the 'church' that is leading to the great apostasy! My heart breaks when I think of the fellowship I used to have with Calvinist. In theory r attempts at sharing the Gospel, they could not tell people that God loves them because they didn't know if they were one of the elect!!!! How can you call these guys 'brothers'???

I grew up with 9 brothers and sisters. One learns to disagree without name calling. All ten of us are in different denominations.

Sir, people hire people to be around them because they agree with them. We naturally want to hear our own thoughts coming from the mouths of those around us. Just my take on why a pastor would only hire other similar thinkers. Not to take away from the fact that you shouldn't hire an Imam to preach at your church.

Calvinism is dangerous period. It’s the new cancer spreading through Christianity. How can you bring word of God to someone and then say that God plays favorites. This is not the Gospel that Jesus spread.

I have heard Calvinists say that the word draw in John 6:44 means to drag in Greek as opposed to draw your attention. I am not a Calvinists, but I am curious if this is true or not.

Good, also not that I am, but where does is say semi-Pelagianism is Pelagianism or semi-Manichaeism is Manichaeism or semi-Nestorianism is Nestorianism... Is seems to me that these avenues of thought help prepare one for the working of the Holy Spirit in our lives to be better at the great commission and it is only to the falling to pride that we say, I understand it better than you, brother. I disagree, the more and more I listen and learn the in-depth theology of Augustinism. I really, really, really struggle with seeing how its the same gospel as whosoever will soteriology. Augustinism creeps in and perverts SOOOO many aspects of theology. I find it harder and harder to tolerate heretical teaching and preaching that make my Lord and Savior love-less, powerless, and ineffective.

What exactly must a person do to be eternally saved from the lake of fire ? Unfortunately, the vast majority of professing christians do NOT agree on the answer to this most important question.

The gospel is that righteousness is a free gift of God because Jesus had lived the perfect life for his people. Not according to our works but according to thperfect and finished work of our savior. We are saved by grace through faith in our savior whom God had sent. A man is saved because God provided the perfect and eternal savior. That is the gospel in simple terms. Salvation is a gift for sinners, not a reward for the righteous and that none is righteous enough for God'standard. God provided the savior for mankind all that man has to do is to receive it by faith which is alot a free gift from God. In the final analysis, man is saved because God had worked for his salvation.This all glory goes to God and all men are humbled and bowed before God's glorious grace!😊

Read Romans 5:19 and Mark 10:45. Its the Gospel according to Saint Paul and in Mark 10:45 it comes from Jesus' own mouth. He came to give his life a ransom for many and its because no mere man can accomplish salvation for mankind.

Dr. Heiser pointed out that election is not necessarily salvation. Case example, Israel is elected but not all Israel is saved. In my determination that one must take advantage of the gift offered. Now the Spirit leads you to that point but you must accept the offer.

The urge to repent comes from our relationship with God. Once you have established a loving relationship with Him, you will want to adhere to His will. You reach a situation where you talk with Him and NOT to Him. You will unfortunately sin due to the attacks of the enemy, but then you can humbly ask His forgiveness and He will forgive you if you are sincere, as a father would do with his child in human life.

The opening statement is why traditional Christianity isn't based on scripture. A person cannot disagree on scripture and still be a Christian. Someone is disagreeing with God, which means that person is actively working against God. Christ's message in Rev. 3:9 does not support this false statement at all _He_ accuses ppl _within the Philadelphia era_ of being agents of Satan while they pay lip service about being Christians. Christ is in the business of calling deceivers for who they are.

Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis? Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart. Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36) We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24. 1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. Minor did in fact tell me not to say Calvinism is false. I respect Dr Flowers but he is soft towards Calvinist because he used to be one and hopes they will repent. If all one has ever believed is Calvinism that person may not be saved.
